
Dr. Jodie Knott is a licensed clinical psychologist whose specialties include: psychological assessments for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities, mood disorders, in addition to child and family therapy. Dr. Knott provides services to children, adults, and families in the community. Services provided include: psychological assessments, therapy, consultative services, rock climbing social skills groups, and executive coaching services to individuals and organizations. Dr. Knott is the director of Quest Therapuetic Camps of Southern California. For Quest, Dr. Knott utilizes her experience of facilitating therapeutic, experiential learning interventions since she has led experiential groups for children for over 9 years.
Dr. Knott is committed to providing culturally sensitive services that are collaborative in nature. She utilizes a variety of treatment methods that have been effective in the treatment of people with various concerns and difficulties.
Dr. Knott’s professional training includes earning a B.S. in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego, and both a Masters in Counseling Family Human Services, and a Ph.D. in Counseling from the University of Oregon. Dr. Knott has also taken 60 credit hours of courses in personal and executive coaching from the College of Executive Coaching. She has provided services to children and adults of all ages, in addition to having worked in a variety of settings including university counseling centers (providing services to students, adults, and children and their families), hospital services (inpatient and outpatient), county services (juvenile justice, foster care, and day treatment), and private practice.
